Here are some of our residents, that regardless of their age or disability, have found those wonderful people who have given them a second chance at their own forever homes.

We salute each and every family for their love of animals!

Copper has hit it BIG!  He is has found a new forever home with Lucienne in Maricopa.  He is loving his walks every morning and night, playing ball and actually bringing it back, and getting to be best friends with her resident feline.  Lucienne says his is just the most wonderful creature and can't thank us enough for bringing them together.

Suzy

Suzy's adorable face was seen by a couple, Tracy and Martin, who moved to Phoenix from England in October.  They had 3 Pappions of their own, ages 15 and and 2 at 12 years old.  They were looking for someone to be in the middle.  Suzy fit the bill just nicely, it was love at first sight and the rest is the happy ending we all wish for.  She is adored by her new family and we can't wait to see her at our fundraising events.

Chloe

Cloe shares her new home with the Kempson family and canine friend "Peanut". They say they can't remember what life was like before her :)

Tiana

At the ripe old age of 17, one of our volunteers fell in love with her the moment she met her.   Just goes to show you that no animal is ever UNADOPTABLE!!!  There is someone for everyone and we couldn't be happier for her (even though we miss her terribly).

quinn_300px.jpg

When we were contacted about Quinn that he was going to die at 5pm that day, we just couldn't let that happen.  Sooooo, down to the pound we went, got there at 3pm and sprung him.  One month later, his picture was spotted on line and it was love at first sight.  A fantastic family from Yuma just had to come to Phoenix to meet him.  Again, the rest is history.  Quinn now has his new forever family, the Barnes's and shares his days with their other 2 year old golden, Benjamin.  According to his new family, he has adjusted just fine and has already lost 16 lbs., which he desperately needed.  We miss this gentle giant, but wow, couldn't ask for a better ending.

Sophie

Sophie was rescued from horrible conditions in California by Joy Dysart.  She was brought to us as Joy had several dogs of her own at the time.  Sophie was a joy to have around but was very outspoken and didn't do well with another resident.  After several injuries inflicted on her, Joy wanted to take her back to her house to foster. Things had changed at the Dysart home and they wanted Sophie there on a permanent basis.  Sophie now shares a wonderful home with other pugs and greyhounds and is doing great.

Toby

Toby wasn't with us very long.  One of our wonderful, dog loving neighbors came for a visit and thought he was the "coolest" guy in the world.  She took him home to meet her pug and the two bonded like crazy glue :)  He lives right around the corner from us and comes to visit often.  He runs on 2 acres and couldn't be happier.
